Over five years ago, we were discerning the stages of forming B2THEWORLD. We knew that the Lord was leading us to serve children in a global setting through education. As the founders of this organization, we have experienced God’s faithfulness to the vision he placed in our hearts. Our vision is to ensure the fullness of life for the future of every child impacted by war.
We have seen tremendous transformation in the lives of the students we serve at Kigali International Community School (KICS) and we want to see the same for children in difficult locations who struggle to get the education they need to thrive.
We invite you to watch this story of what inspires us. The Lord has moved through multiple phases in our lives: from when we were exposed to the needs of children in North Korea to Susie’s brain tumor journey and God’s hand at work in our life, from our relocation to Rwanda in 2014 and seeing first-hand the impact that transformative education had on a country that came out of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, to witnessing to families of different faiths through KICS. We are excited to bring such transformation throughout countries recovering from war.
This week, as you learn more about our expansion plans into new locations in South Sudan and Cameroon, we encourage you to participate in our May Match Week campaign. We are raising over $20,000 so we can make a difference in the lives of more children. Our board has been generous and will match up to $10,000 of your donations.
